    Why Jigsaw?

Designed as a whole-school approach, Jigsaw establishes consistency that gives all teachers confidence to deliver high-quality lessons. Not only does Jigsaw meet all statutory requirements for Self Awareness, Persoonal Health, Relationships and RSE, but it also elevates educational outcomes.

Additionally, Jigsaw lessons contribute significantly to key areas within the Living in the Wider World including the Parenting and Independent Living aspects of Personal Development.

Jigsaw shapes young people to be confident and successful, increasing their capacity to learn and preparing them for the challenges of the modern world. What do teachers and young people say about Jigsaw PSHE?

    Testimonials

Here is what our Jigsaw Schools have said:

    • "Teachers have all reported that Jigsaw supports their confidence in the classroom. This has been particularly around the delivery of RSE in ‘Changing Me’. The ability to refer to scripts for delivery of certain information is very helpful indeed! We have also found the format of the materials very helpful for managing staff workload."

      Headteacher, Truro

    • "Some of the topics pupils are exposed to are challenging, but they are always approached in an age appropriate, respectful way. There is sensitive recognition that although pupils are growing up in a world full of opportunities there are many uncertainties and anxieties too. "

      Subject Leader, West Yorkshire

    • "The staff have seen a noticeable impact on how pupils respond to situations which might previously have upset them. Listening to their discussions and spending time in the classrooms, it is clear that Jigsaw has helped to establish an environment based on respect. The ideas being shared are honest, open and the pupils feel comfortable talking about their thoughts."
