    Why Jigsaw?

Designed as a whole-school approach, Jigsaw establishes consistency that gives all teachers confidence to deliver high-quality lessons, directing priority on health, well-being and mental health alongside academic achievements. Jigsaw meets all statutory UK requirements, but is adaptable for cultural sensitivities and validates different curriculums to enable schools to go above and beyond for children and young people.

Jigsaw nurtures children and young people to cope with change and celebrate diversity while maintaining their individuality, teaching them to be confident and successful. Developed by teachers, pupils and well-being experts, Jigsaw provides children and young people with a curriculum that develops their mental health, emotional intelligence and character as global citizens to overcome socio-cultural and socio-economical challenges.

What do learners say about Jigsaw PSHE?

    Thinking Why Jigsaw?

Here is what our Jigsaw Schools have said:

    • "We have also seen children developing confidence, especially when it comes to speaking about their feelings. The children are also better tuned in to, and more mindful of, the feelings of their peers and also the impact their own behaviour can have on others. This has supported children in strengthening their relationships with others."

      Headteacher, Netherlands

    • “Thank you. I’ve heard nothing but praise from teachers and other colleagues from Health and social services. You provided us with excellent CPD which I am confident will impact our curriculum offer”

      Headteacher, Cyprus

    • “We achieved outstanding in our recent OFSTED inspection for elements where Jigsaw had clearly impacted. Jigsaw has proved to be a such a valuable investment and we are compliant with compulsory Relationship and Health Education guidance. As a very small rural school with little capital and busy staff, being able to use Pupil Premium and School Sports funding to buy Jigsaw helped us supplement the funds we had already raised through our parent fundraising group. The children love Jigsaw, it’s effective and we have saved the staff time, worry and energy. What’s not to like?”

      Governor (Cumbria)

    • "I personally champion Jigsaw because it is an excellent resource that meets our MOD Schools context needs really well. We have seen a huge impact mainly through having a consistent approach across the schools. We also have meetings with parents prior to the SRE lessons in the summer term. It has given us a great framework – we all have our jigsaw boards that the children contribute to each week following the jigsaw assembly – all great stuff!"
